DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Sandy Koufax captured on the pitcher's mound in his pitching form after just releasing his pitch. Koufax has a look of concentration on his face with his mouth agape. His left arm is stretched out in front of him. Koufax has his right leg straight and his left leg slightly bent behind him. He hurled the baseball so hard that his baseball cap fell off and is visible is mid air behind him. He is dressed in the Los Angeles Dodgers home uniform. A newspaper clipping is affixed to the back of the photograph and states, "The perfect form of Sandy Koufax...minus his cap." Based on Koufax's uniform and his time with the Dodgers as a left handed pitcher this photograph was taken between 1958 and 1966.
