DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Sandy Koufax captured as he begins his wind up before releasing his pitch. Koufax is looking over his right shoulder as he lifts his right leg off the ground. He is beginning to bring his left arm up and the baseball in visible in his hand. Koufax has a serious expression on his face. He is dressed in the Los Angeles Dodgers uniform but it is indistinguishable whether it is a home or road uniform. Written on the front of the photograph is "Sandy Koufax." Based on Koufax's uniform and his time with the Los Angeles Dodgers this photograph was taken between 1958 and 1966.
