Osterhout & Goodrich Clothiers advertising cards

DescriptionA set of four cards advertising the Osterhout & Goodrich clothing store, dated 1887. The fronts feature caricatures of period ballplayers along with advertising for the Osterhout & Goodrich Clothing stores of Philadelphia. These are colored in a blue-green tint. They are titled "A Curver" showing a pitcher with the ball, "Great Expectations" showing a player at bat, "A Home Run" showing a player running from behind, and "Foul and Out" showing a batter with the ball over and behind his head. The backs are printed with the Philadelphia Phillies and Athletic schedule, both home and road, for the year 1887.
