Ken Griffey, Jr. 600th Career Home Run helmet

DescriptionRed plastic batting helmet, size 7 1/8, with a proper right side ear protector and a white "C" decal on the front. Top, sides and rear have open slats for ventilation. There is a small manufacturer sticker at the top crown. Rear of the helmet has a red "3" sticker and an MLB logo sticker with "RS" handwritten in black marker. Interior has a black vinyl-covered padded sweatband around the perimeter along with padding at the top crown, back of the head and the ear protector. Interior crown has two manufacturer labels, a sizing label and an MLB Authentication hologram sticker.

Bio/Historical NoteHelmet worn by Ken Griffey, Jr. of the Cincinnati Reds while slugging a first-inning home run off Florida Marlins pitcher Mark Hendrickson on June 9, 2008, to log the 600th homer of his career.
