DescriptionDark brown plastic batting helmet, size 7 3/8, with an extended proper right ear protector and a yellow and brown rubber "SF" logo adhered to the front. Top crown has four ventilation holes. Rear center has a yellow, white, and brown MLB logo with "30" in yellow stickers above. There are two rear ventilation holes. Interior of the helmet is black with a textured surface. There is an MLB authentication hologram sticker on the underside of the bill. Ear protector has a black vinyl and fabric-covered pad on the interior top portion and a fabric-covered foam pad on the bottom portion. There is a black vinyl and fabric-covered interior sweatband as well as black vinyl and fabric-covered pads at the interior rear and top of the crown. "7 3/8" and "Rawlings / The Mark of a Pro" is stamped in gold lettering on the interior rear pad. "Mach Pro" is stamped in gold lettering on the interior top crown pad. There is a red manufacturer label on the proper left side of the sweatband and another label on the proper right side of the sweatband, "Authentic Collection / On-Field Equipment / Official Batting Helmet of / Major League Baseball." There is a white sticker on the interior top crown with "MLHB" in black lettering along with another white sticker on the interior top crown rear with "121619 10" in black lettering.

Bio/Historical NoteHelmet worn by San Diego Padres first baseman Eric Hosmer on August 20, 2020, when he hit a grand slam in the fifth inning off Texas Rangers starting pitcher Kyle Gibson. Following grand slams by Fernando Tatis, Jr. (August 17th), Wil Myers (August 18th), and Manny Machado (August 19th), Hosmer's grand slam made the Padres the first major league team ever to hit grand slams in four consecutive games.
