DescriptionGold St. Louis Cardinals 1982 World Series championship ring given to Commissioner Bowie Kuhn. The ring has a rounded square face that features a circular diamond set in red stone. "Cardinals World Champions" wraps around the stones. One arm has "1982," a World Series trophy and Busch Stadium. The other arm has "Kuhn" above a Cardinals logo.
Bio/Historical NoteThe St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Milwaukee Brewers four games to three to win the 1982 World Series. Bowie Kuhn served as Major League Baseball's fifth commissioner from 1969 to 1984, and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2008.
