DescriptionGold Cincinnati Reds 1976 World Series championship ring given to Commissioner Bowie Kuhn. This ring has a rounded, rectangle face that features an image of the World Series trophy with a diamond in the middle and a border reading "Cincinnati Reds '76 World Champions." One arm has "Reds 4 Yanks 0" above an image of Riverfront. Other arm reads "Kuhn - Big Red Machine."
Bio/Historical NoteThe Cincinnati Reds defeated the New York Yankees four games to zero to win the 1976 World Series. Bowie Kuhn served as Major League Baseball's fifth commissioner from 1969 to 1984, and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2008.
