DescriptionNew York Mets official program and scorecard for a game between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Mets, June 21, 1964. This was game 1 of a doubleheader and a perfect game for Jim Bunning. The scorecard is scored in pencil and is surrounded by various advertisements. The top of the front cover has an illustration of the outside of Shea Stadium and the Mets logo and below it reads "Shea Stadium - Home of the N. Y. Mets". The center has an illustration of a Mets player having just swung the bat with a catcher and umpire behind him. In pencil, the 13-year old scorer wrote "Perfect Game, 6/21/64." The bottom has a world glove and reds "1964 World's Fair Edition, official program and scorecard." The back cover has an advertisement for Sinclair Dinoland at the World's Fair, with an illustration of dinosaurs.
