He has just finished his swing and his body is twisted in a way that his front (left) leg is facing the pitcher's mound, his upper body is facing the camera, and he is looking over his front (right) shoulder at the field. With both hands he is holding the baseball bat that is behind him. Behind home plate is an unidentified New York Mets catcher who possibly could be Todd Hundley. In the background are unidentified New York Mets in the dugout and a small crowd in the stands. the photograph is taken from the third base side of the field.
