DescriptionA black-and-white, head and shoulder, photograph of Sandy Koufax captured in profile as he appears on a radio station. Koufax has headphones on and appears to be mid-sentence. He is dressed in a t-shirt and cardigan sweater. A newspaper clipping is affixed to the back of the photograph and states, "Sandy Koufax, a guest on Jimmy Piersall's radio program, told listeners, "he didn't want to negotiate his contract over radio." A second newspaper clipping is affixed to the back of the photograph and states, "Sandy Koufax, who has signed a $1 million contract with NBC-TV, has had plenty of experience behind the microphone. In his new job, the retired Dodgers pitching ace will help create new sports programs, obtain new talent and appear as an NBC representative." This photograph is undated.
