for Baseball Chapel
Biography"Baseball Chapel is an international ministry recognized by Major League and Minor League Baseball and is responsible for the appointment and oversight of all team chapel leaders... Each major, minor and independent league team is assigned someone who conducts weekly chapel services for the teams and umpires. Chapel services are conducted in Spanish in many cities because over 40% of the players come from Latin America. Separate chapel services for the players’ wives or for ballpark personnel are held in many cities and some even offer a Sunday school program for the players’ children. Bible studies are also offered and discipleship is a priority. Every major league, minor league, and independent league team has Baseball Chapel. Programs are also in place in all major and minor league spring training locations and during extended spring and instructional league. Baseball Chapel serves in over 350 locations throughout professional baseball in the United States and Canada."--http://www.baseballchapel.org/documents/presentation.pdf
