Mantle has his left arm wrapped around Bouton's back and in his right hand he is holding up the ball that he hit for his 18th career postseason home run to set a new record. Bouton has his right arm wrapped around the back of Mantle and is smiling. The caption above the photograph (not shown) reads "10/10/64-YANKEE STADIUM: Mickey Mantle (holding ball), whose 9th inning homer won third game of World Series for Yankees, 2-1, celebrates in dressing room with winning pitcher Jim Bouton."
