Lee, photographed wearing a Chicago White Sox uniform, has just finished his delivery. His weight is shifted to his right, front foot and his right arm is stretched out and and in front of his body. The caption on the back of the photograph (not shown) reads, "Chicago White Sox in Spring Training - Pasadena, Calif. - Thornton Lee, mainstay of the Chicago White Sox pitching staff, warms up in spring practice at Pasadena. 3-2-42."
