DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of boys praying. The caption (not shown) reads "Baltimore: Sorrowful boys at St. Mary's Industrial School kneel at the altar in the school's chapel to pray after they were informed this morning that Babe Ruth, a graduate of the institution and one of its greatest benefactors, had died. In center is Brother Herbert who taught at the school when Babe Ruth was there. At extreme RT, is Brother Charles, superintendent of the school."
