DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Mel Ott of the New York Giants captured at bat. Ott has completed his swing and is looking straight ahead towards the pitcher's mound. He is holding his baseball bat on the right side of his body. His legs are sliding apart in the dirt. Ott is dressed in a New York Giants home uniform. Based on Ott's uniform and his time with the Giants, this photograph was probably taken in 1931.
