Ted Abernathy negative
Date1963 or 1964
DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Ted Abernathy dressed in a Cleveland Indians uniform posing in a set pitching position in the area between the baseline and dugout (not shown). On his jersey, the logo is on the right and his number, "36", on the left. His hands are down at his sides with his right grasping a baseball and his left holding a closed glove. He is looking beyond the photographer (not shown) to his left. Behind him, one person is in the outfield and one person is standing in the stadium seating close to the 1st base side. Based on Ted Abernathy's time with the Cleveland Indians and the uniform style (in both 1963 and 1964, the home and road uniforms were exactly the same), this image was taken between 1963 and 1964.
