Bio/Historical NoteShoes worn by Washington Nationals shortstop Trea Turner on June 30, 2021, when he went 4-for-4 in a 15-6 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on his 28th birthday. He hit for the cycle for the third time in his career, with a single in the first inning, a double in the third, a homer in the fourth and a triple in the sixth. Turner became the fourth player in the Modern Era to hit for three career cycles, tying the record, along with Adrian Beltre, Babe Herman and Bob Meusel.
