Bio/Historical NoteSample Little Indians uniform shirt. The Little Indians, modeled after the Cleveland Indians, was a junior boys' baseball team founded by Josephine Morhard in University Heights, Ohio. Soon after, Morhard formed more teams named after Major League teams, as well as a Junior American League and a Junior National League. Members of the Cleveland Indians helped by teaching the kids how to play, helping to raise funds and general mentoring of the kids. The Cleveland Indians' head scout, Laddie Placek, got permission for the Little Indians to have authentic minature versions of the Cleveland Indians uniforms. This particular pair of pants was worn by Billy Myers, one of the original members of the Little Indians.
