Contract dates are from approximately April 15th to October 15th, with a salary of $4000.00. It is signed by Frank J. Navin, president of the Tigers, and Tyrus R. Cobb. The reverse side states that this is a 'Player's contract as adopted by the American League of Professional Base Ball Clubs, the Detroit Base Ball Company with Tyrus Cobb'. It is signed by Ban Johnson, president of the American League, and dated March 28, 1908.
