Bio/Historical NoteBrick from Memorial Stadium, home to both Minor League teams and Major League teams from 1949-1997. Home of the Baltimore Orioles from 1954 through 1991, Memorial Stadium reigned over 33rd Street for more than 35 years. Named in honor of the fallen from World War II, the Art Deco-style park was razed in 2001 and bricks, chairs, and other cherished relics were sold to fans.
