DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Betty Whiting playing second base and runner Dorothy Kamenshek sliding into second base. Whiting is reaching down to tag out Kamenshek. Kamenshek's back is facing the camera and is touching second base with her left hand. The photograph was taken at night. It is unclear which uniforms both Whiting and Kamenshek are wearing. Photograph taken between the years of 1945 and 1952 when both Kamenshek and Whiting were active in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League.
