DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of eleven Cubanas players on the "Blue Team" while on a winter tour to San Juan, Puerto Rico for the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League in February of 1948. The players and two managers are arranged in two rows - one squatting down (Mildred "Millie" Earp, unidentified, Senaida "Shu Shu" Wirth Mylott, unidentified, Zonia Vialat) and one standing (manager William "Dick" Bass Richard, Maria Dominguez, unidentified, Ysora Castillo Kinney, unidentified, Adelina Garcia, Migdalia "Mickey" Perez Jinright, unidentified manager). Spectators can be seen in the stands behind them. For the most part, the names of the players are written on the photograph on the uniform of each player.
