Whitey Herzog 1000th Managerial Win cap

DescriptionRed cap, size 7, with "StL" embroidered in white and black on the front. Underside of the bill is light gray with "24" handwritten in black ink in the center near the sweatband. Interior white cotton sweatband has three manufacturer labels in the rear, including "Official License / Major League Baseball," "New Era" and a sizing tag.

Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by St. Louis Cardinals manager Whitey Herzog on April 25, 1987 for his 1,000th managerial win against the New York Mets. The Cardinals defeated the Mets, 3-2.
