Charles Comiskey and Connie Mack photograph
Dateundated
DescriptionA black-and-white full-length photograph of Charles Comiskey and Connie Mack shaking hands. Comiskey, right, shown in 3/4 profile, wears a three piece pinstripe suit and bow tie. Standing with his left arm down by his side, Comiskey turns his upper body to his right, in the direction of Mack. Looking forward, establishing eye contact with Mack, Comiskey shakes Mack's right hand with his right hand. Mack, left, wearing a pinstripe suit and tie, is also shown in 3/4 profile. Angled inwards, shaking his hand, Mack looks forward to Comiskey. Captured indoors, a set of curtains can be seen in the background of the photograph. The white frame surrounding the subjects is not original to the photograph and exists as a modification made for publication, indicating where the photograph is to be cropped. Handwritten on this frame, in the upper right corner, in black, is the name, "Comiskey." Similarly, in the lower right corner is a sticker, typed in black ink, with the number, "86.564." In the lower left portion of the image that has been framed, hand painted in white, is a copyright symbol and the phrase, "BURKE & KORETKE * CHICAGO*."
