DescriptionA full-length action color image of Tony Gwynn running to first. Gwynn, shown in 3/4 profile, wears a San Diego Padres home uniform, batting gloves, and helmet. Captured mid-step, having just made contact with the ball, Gwynn supports his weight between his bent, front right leg, and his straight, back left leg. Only the toe of Gwynn's left and right cleat touch the ground. Leaning forward, Gwynn turns his head to his left, to look at a point in the distance and to the right of the camera. Gwynn holds both bent arms on either side of his body. Gwynn's discarded bat can be seen behind him to the far left of the image. Captured in-game, an occupied stadium and dugout can be seen in the background. The creation date of this image was provided by the donor.
