DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Mel Ott captured standing on the baseball field looking at a piece of paper with broadcaster Bob Neal. Ott is dressed in a New York Giants uniform, but it is indistinguishable whether it is a home or road uniform. Neal is dressed in a suit and a fedora hat. An unidentified stadium is in the background and fans are visible throughout the seating. An unidentified baseball player is visible in the background with his glove held up. The caption on the back of the photograph (not shown) states, "Mel Ott Bob Neal Cleveland Broadcaster..." Based on Ott's uniform and his time with the Giants, this photograph was taken between 1933 and 1947.
