DescriptionAn American League Player's contract to Richard "Dickey" Kerr to play for the Chicago White Sox for the 1920 season. The contract states it starts April 14 and ends October 14, 1920. The salary is $4000.00 for the season with an additional sum of $500.00 reserved for the club owner to renew this contract. Handwritten on the third page it states this contract can be renewed for the 1921 season at an amount not to exceed $4500.00. It is not dated but signed by Charles Comiskey and Richard Kerr. It was approved and signed by Ban Johnson, American League president, on May 3, 1920.
