He is dressed in the Pittsburgh Pirates home uniform. Two unidentified Pittsburgh Pirates players are visible in the background behind Wood. Baseball spectators are visible in the stadium seating at Forbes Field in the background. Based on Wood's uniform and his time as a pitcher with the Pittsburgh Pirates this digital image was taken between 1930 and 1931.
