A newspaper clipping on the back provides a caption reading: "No Doubts About It: Dodgers' Junior Gilliam is out at first base despite late leap as Billy Pierce takes throw from Roy Sievers. Pierce was the winning pitcher as White Sox defeated Dodgers, 3-1."
