DescriptionBlack and gold leather high-top shoes with black laces and gold manufacturer logos on both the inner and outer sides. There is a gold bar with "BHM" in black lettering at the base of the lettering, standing for Black History Month. Outer side ankle of the left shoe has "04 15 1947" and the outer side ankle of the right shoe has "08 28 1963." Tongues are black with a small red, black and green striped fabric loop at the top. Interior undersides of the tongues have a sizing label and a black sticker with "10" in orange. Heels have a strip of red, black, and green striped fabric up the center to a loop at the top and MLB Authentication hologram stickers. Bottom soles have a black and white pattern, a manufacturer logo in the center and at the heel, and nine metal spikes. Insoles are black with bright green cushions in the heel and a manufacturer logo in the bottom.
Bio/Historical NoteShoes worn by Adam Jones of the Baltimore Orioles on Jackie Robinson Day on April 15, 2018 in which Jones served as the Orioles' designated hitter at Fenway Park. The significance of the dates on the outer ankle sides of the each shoe are April 15, 1947, the date of Jackie Robinson's MLB debut, and August 28, 1963, the date of Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech.
