DescriptionNavy blue cap, size 6 7/8, with an "SD" logo embroidered in white on the front and a small MLB logo patch at the rear center. Underside of the bill is light gray with an MLB Authentication hologram sticker. Interior white cotton sweatband has several manufacturer labels, including "New Era," "Authentic Collection" and a sizing tag. Interior proper right front panel has "51" handwritten in black ink.
Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by San Diego Padres relief pitcher Trevor Hoffman on September 24, 2006 in a 2-1 Padres win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. This was Hoffman's 479th career save.
