DescriptionLight gray polyester v-neck shirt, size 42, with red and navy blue knit trim around the neck. Front chest has "Boston" in red and navy blue appliques. Bottom front center has a label with "1978" in red lettering and blue edging along with another label to the right with washing instructions. Interior back of the neck has a manufacturer label, "McAuliffe Uniform Corp.," with a sizing tag below. Reverse has "14" in red and navy blue appliques in the center.

Bio/Historical NoteShirt worn by Jim Rice of the Boston Red Sox in 1978, the year he became the first American League player to collect over 400 total bases (406) since Joe DiMaggio in 1937.
